A 110-pound, solid-gold sculpture of British model Kate Moss made by artist Marc Quinn is unveiled at the British Museum, in central London. The statue named 'Siren', the largest gold statue produced since Ancient Egyptian times according to the museum, was unveiled for the first time in the Nereid Gallery, against the backdrop of classical sculpture from the Museum's collection. Siren is one of five contemporary sculptures by leading contemporary British artists going on display as part of the exhibition 'Statuephilia', paying tribute to the cultural significance of sculpture across the ages.

A model displays a diamond believed to be the world's biggest colored Forevermark diamond in Mumbai. The 42.02 carat diamond will be auctioned at India's first online auction of jewellery at an estimated starting price of $606,745 according to the auction house.

If McDonald's dollar menu isn't quite your style, consider this: a $5,000 hamburger. And where else would it be sold but Las Vegas, of course. Chef Hubert Keller at Fleur de Lys at Mandalay Bay is offering this new burger for a price that can only be called decadent. The foie gras and black truffle-stuffed Kobe burger is served on a brioche truffle bun and garnished with Chef Keller's special sauce, which also has truffles. Accompanying this burger is a bottle of Chateau Petrus 1995.
