We already knew that working for Google had certain advantages, but, believe me, this giant of the search motor takes the welfare of its employees seriously ... As shown by this decompression (stress) capsule that is impermeable to sound and light ...

Moving around: A slide allows quick access from different floors ... There are also poles available ... They are similar to the ones used in fire stations.

Food. Employees can eat all they want from a vast choice of food and drink.

Work Station: Each employee has at least two large screens. There are 4-6 'Zooglers' per office

INOVATION: Large boards are available just about everywere because "ideas don't always come when seated in the office" says one of Googles managers.

LEISURE. Pool tables, video games etc. Are available in many areas.

Communication... On each floor, there are private cabin areas where employees can attend to personal affairs.

Technical Support: Problem with your computer ? No problem ... Bring it to this area where drinks are available while it is being fixed ...

Health: Professional masseurs (eusses) available.

REST ... This room provides massage chairs that you control ... While you view relaxing aquariums ... !!!

Ambiance ... There are many books in this library ... Even some about programming !!

ok, but Human nature needs struggling as well as comfort! I can vouch for Murph. The pics are legit and appear to me to be from only one or two locations. I also worked in the Switzerland facility and these pictures are legit. They had a press day earlier this year and these pictures appear to be the shots taken by some of the media that were allowed to tour the facility. Great team and great location! We really will never know if these pictures are true or fake. Google is a hard place to land a job. First of all you need a degree, then the interveiws, papers you have to sign. So most of us would never get to work for Google, they are very picky about who works for them, for a gfood reason. And if they do have all the extras, there is nothing wrong with that, as their workers are suppose to be the top of the game. Why not show your appreciation to your employees.

The post combines images from about ... 50 google offices and pretends that they are all features in a single location. No, it nowhere explicitly says that, but that's the impression that is given. You should disclose your sources and delineate where each thing is located. You go from 'cool post, neat subject' to 'inauthentic, untrustworthy' with that single decision. It was likely a calculated one: you grab more hits by making it seem like you're exposing the interior of a single 'wonderland' rather than the (very cool but not 'mega willy wonka palace cool' interior of say 50 separate offices across the world)

Those Avaya phones suck ass, we have those at my company and im the office bitch (Head Admin). Took over 50 hours straight to program all of those phones for the unique tasks that we use them for. /sigh i hate those phones.

The price you pay for these amenities is the fact that it's certainly not a 9-5 job. Fine for the young and newly-graduated. Perhaps not so for someone who's already established and has a life outside of work.

Dont want to be a killjoy but does this stink like a public profile improvement exercise? I'm sure that its a great place to work but, c'mon?, give me a break. Taking a slide to lunch? It just seems a bit too much. Massage chairs or not, these people still have to work. Im tired of Google employees being portrayed as "big kids" that just play all day. It just seems waaay too much. If i worked in an office the last thing Id want is management fondling my balls like that, just give me more money, thats why people work - money. Leave the tofu beanbag relaxation area out of it.

I went to the Google NY office, it was awesome. Sorta kinda like this, except no slides and poles to go down floors and stuff.

Scooters though to travel on the floors.

if they let all employees access these areas, then even the entry level employees are living better than some corporate CEOs, on a daily basis. absolutely unbelieveable.
